This technique is simple and fun and makes a striking card. You have to use a silhouette stamp, like the one from Just Believe. Stamp image in white craft ink, let dry and color with colored pencils. Add a little white gel pen to highlight and you’re done. I added a panel made with the lacy border punch and a sentiment from  Teeny Tiny Wishes on oval punched pieces.

Inspired by jonesdesigncompany, these rolled rose bouquets were perfect for Mother’s Day. They are fairly easy to make, but I did four of them, so cutting the circles by hand and then rolling them all up took some time. I just put Downton Abbey on the telly and the time went quickly.

The colors are Elegant Eggplant, Pirouette Pink and Rose Red, with Garden Green leaves, which I cut out with the Island Floral die (retiring soon). The base is Confetti White, also being retired 😦 and cut out with the Petal Cone die.  I embossed it on two sides with the Flower Garden embossing folder. Other items used: punches and Teeny Tiny Wishes for the sentiment; floral wire to hold up the roses and half a Styrofoam ball, and little roses made with the Sizzix 3D flower die (not from SU). My glue gun got a work out with these!
