This is the last card for a challenge to use one stamp set to make five different cards. I think I saved the best for last! I used a layout design by Lisa Dobson, a demonstrator in Montana. The colors, Midnight Muse, Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green, were my choice. The stamp set is Stippled Blossoms, with a sentiment from Thoughts & Prayers.

The herringbone pattern was scored with Stampin’ Up!’s Score Pal and the diagonal plate. The flowers and leaves were all cut out by hand. A little labor intensive and it took me two tries to get the scoring right, but it was worth it. Now it’s on to the next challenge. I won a free stamp set in this quarter’s challenge—woo hoo!

I tried to give this card, the fourth of the challenge, a vintage look. The base is Early Espresso, and the Whisper White piece was stamped with Soft Suede using the stamp set The Open Sea. I tore the edges and sponged it a bit with Soft Suede. The flowers, from Stippled Blossoms (again, as the challenge was to make five cards using the same set), were stamped in So Saffron and More Mustard.

The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned, stamped in Early Espresso and the shape for it was made using Apothecary Accents Framelits. I had to trace the framelit to make the So Saffron mat and cut it by hand. No big deal if you have a pair of SU paper snips and a steady hand. This one is prettier in real life and easy to make. Only one more to go!
