This is a case of a card my way up-upline gave me at convention. Hers was a 3×3 but I turned it into a full size card by adding a Pacific Point base, which is embossed with the Elegant Bouquet embossing folder and the Big Shot. I also used our new Stripes embossing folder on the white piece behind the little flower from Fabulous Florets, stamped in Pacific Point, cut out and popped up, surrounded by leaves stamped in Pear Pizzazz. For the background piece, she used DSP, but I didn’t have any that matched, so I stamped it with Pacific Point and the new stamp set Best Friends Forever. It has a really neat swirly stamp. I used Thoughts and Prayers for the sentiment.

I love how a little embossing completely changes a card from plain to wow. Hope you like it!

I love the new designer frames embossing folders! This little frame needed something inside, and the ship from The Open Sea was begging to be framed in Cherry Cobbler. I cut around the outside and punched out the inside with the 1-3/8″ punch (it almost punches out the whole thing; had to punch 4 times). I used our new Stripes embossing folder for a little 3D accent and a piece of Nautical Expedition DSP behind it, all on Early Espresso card stock. The ‘T’ is from Occasions Alphabet, which I also used on the inside for the anniversary greeting and then I added a little Cherry Cobbler baker’s twine to finish it off. It earned my daughter’s stamp of approval, which is always good. This is an original design, and since we all know how much copying I do, I’m especially pleased to come up with something so cute!
