I love the third card I made for the challenge. The lacy edge was made with a new embossing folder called Delicate Designs. I trimmed it a little bit to make it look more like lace. There’s a strip of Elegant Eggplant along the edge of the white piece. And of course the rose blossoms are done using the stamping off technique. This is where you ink your stamp, stamp once on scratch paper, then stamp for real. This makes the light part of the flower; then you stamp the outline stamp with the full amount of ink.

The card base and large flowers are Wisteria Wonder and the small flowers are Pretty in Pink. The leaves are Old Olive and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. It’s a little 3D but flat for mailing, which is a plus.

Two more to go! Isn’t it great how you can use the same set with different colors and layouts and get totally different cards?

Here’s the second card I made for the five card challenge using the same stamp set, Stippled Blossoms. This time it’s on a base of Early Espresso with a mat of Gumball Green. The sentiment is again from Love & Sympathy and the mat cut out with the Window Frames Collection Framelits. I tilted it for a different look.

The flowers are stamped with So Saffron and More Mustard; the leaves are stamped with Gumball Green. I used the paper piercing mat to pierce holes around the edge of the framelit and splattered the whole thing with the color spritzer tool. I love that thing!

…would still smell as sweet, but then what would we call this stamp set? Stippled Blossoms, I guess. That is indeed the name of the set I used for a stamping challenge, made by my 5th level upline, to make five cards from the same set. For this ongoing quarterly challenge I’ll be getting my creative juices going to come up with original ideas and hopefully some beautiful cards to inspire you.

Here is the first (yes, I’m going to post them one at a time, in the order I made them).

Stamp sets: Stippled Blossoms, Love and Sympathy.
Colors: Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green, Whisper White.
Accessories: Big Shot, Adorning Accents Edgelits.

Another little purse made with the Petite Purse die, decorated with some DSP and a flower from Everything Eleanor and leaves from Build a Blossom. The tag is made with the Jewelry Tag punch and Teeny Tiny Wishes. Sorry about the green background. I thought it might make a nice change from black, but I guess not!
