Last Eleanor card! Did I mention I won the challenge again? It’s fun to win a stamp set just for making some cards.

From the first time I saw the Cannery Set Framelits dies (still available in the Spring mini), I wanted to use the jar as a vase. I decorated the vase with flourishes from Everything Eleanor, added the bird and sponged the edges with a little blue ink. Popped up the center flower and voila, a cheerful card.

My fourth card for the Everything Eleanor challenge was inspired by this card. I changed it up a bit but kept the color combination, which I really like, except for the bird color, which I changed to Riding Hood Red. I added a little splatter with the Color Spritzer Tool, one of my favorite tools. Teeny Tiny Wishes—again—for the sentiment.

I got the idea for this third challenge card using Everything Eleanor from Splitcoaststampers. This is much easier than making a tiled card by cutting an image in squares. This technique is simply scoring the cardstock and stamping over it, lightly so as not to get ink in the grooves. For this card, I stamped the flourishes only. The flowers are cut out for a 3D effect. The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

My second challenge card with Everything Eleanor. This one is made with Wisteria Wonder, Elegant Eggplant and Whisper White. I stamped the flourish and hand cut pieces from it for the green accents—a lot of work, but I like the effect. The sentiment is from Perfectly Penned.

It’s good to challenge yourself, or in my case, to be challenged. The ability to make many different cards from one stamp set is a selling point for Stampin’ Up! but it’s something I haven’t done very often in the past. I usually make one card and move on to a different set. The challenge from my upline to make five cards from one stamp set has been good for me, really exercising my creativity. The chance to win a free stamp set helps too! Did I mention I won for the third quarter last year? I chose Delightful Dozen.

I turned in five cards for the fourth quarter and to my amazement, I won another set! This time I have chosen Fabulous Phrases, lots of words you can put together in a surprising number of combinations. Here’s the first card for that challenge, made with Everything Eleanor, an absolutely beautiful set!

The base is Crumb Cake, the mat is Midnight Muse and the sentiment is from From My Heart. I used the Labels Collection framelits—love those framelits! For a little extra  something, I cut thin strips of cardstock and glued them behind the frame.

Another little purse made with the Petite Purse die, decorated with some DSP and a flower from Everything Eleanor and leaves from Build a Blossom. The tag is made with the Jewelry Tag punch and Teeny Tiny Wishes. Sorry about the green background. I thought it might make a nice change from black, but I guess not!
